Content Description

Three color photographs of interior walls of the garage at the family home in Wheat Ridge, plus photocopies of the garage exterior. The garage had originally been part of POW Camp 202 on US 34 west of Greeley, Colorado, which held German prisoners of war during WWII. The building was brought down from Greeley and the family lived in it while their house was being built. Photos show markings on the walls made by prisoners of a name, a phrase in German, and Xs marking the days.
