Some contain suggested books for various categories, i.e. women, holidays, easy readers, etc. There is also information on story hour times and tips for storytellers, as well as general library information.

Scope and Contents Ken-Caryl Ranch, Littleton, Colorado, began on Oct. 17, 1914, when John Charles Shaffer purchased 2,660 acres of land southwest of Denver, naming the ranch for his sons, Kent and Carroll. This collection contains historical information gathered on the Ranch by descendants of the original owners. Reports and research materials related to the historic Lindsay Ranch located on the former Rocky Flats property in Arvada, Colorado. There was an effort in 2000, supported by County Commissioner Pat Holloway, to determine if the property qualified for National or State Historic Register listing, and if so, to ensure preservation of the ranch after the decommissioning of Rocky Flats. This collection is a compiliation of materials gathered by the archives.

Railroad Aid Bonds issued by Jefferson County to raise funds to give financial assistance to railroads. Bonds to aid in construction of the Colorado Central Railroad were issued Jun 1, 1868, due in 1883, with 8% interest. Total issue $100,000. Cancelled bond certificates have 5¢ or 50¢ revenue stamps affixed. Bonds for construction of the Golden City and South Platte Railway and Telegraph Company were issued Mar 18, 1873, due in 1893, with 8% interest. Total issue $50,000.
