Jefferson County Public Library Annual Report Files, 1954-1983

Collection contains: Annual Reports; Circulation Statistics; Financial Statistics; Librarians' Statistical Reports; Miscellaneous Statistics; and Public Services' Monthly Worksheets and Report. Annual reports are a resume of Jefferson County Public Library's activities and achievements for the previous year. Full narrative is presented to the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners by the Library's Board of Trustees. Reports include circulation statistics and budget and expenditures. There are also annual report brochures summarizing the report for citizens. Librarians' statistical report includes circulation numbers for the entire library system by branch, bookmobile stops, and books by mail. Also monthly book stock statistics. Other statistical reports include circulation per registrant, cost per circulation, books circulated by hour, and monthly circulation by branch as well as Public Services monthly reports that record circulation, cards issued, resource sharing (ILL and IBL), gifts, volunteer hours and activities, and number of items mended for each library.
