Elections Department Time Capsule

Time capsule is an antique wooden ballot box with notes written to future voters by women from the Jefferson County League of Women Voters inside its glass cylinder. The time capsule is meant to be opened in a ceremony in August of 2120 which would be the 200th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote.
