Tracings of recorded subdivision plats; surveys by former county surveyors; maps showing road, railroad, or ditch rights of way; and miscellaneous maps created by private engineers or surveyors all compiled and/or collected by the former Jefferson County Abstract Company of Golden, Colorado.
Book containing stock certificates for shares in the Jefferson County Abstract, Real Estate and Investment Company of Golden, Colorado. The book contains intricately designed certificates and receipts showing number of shares owned, date, certificate number, corporate seal and signatures, and is dated from 1891 to 1939.
This collection contains the first Uniform Building Code of Colorado created by the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission in 1948 (revised July 1, 1949). Also the 1962 Jefferson County Building Code (which includes a chapter on fallout shelters) and the 1970 Jeffco Building Code Volume I-A.

Collection also includes official notices of appointment; letters of application, citizen petitions and letters of recommendations to the BCC regarding appointed positions; and resignation letters and notices of revocation of appointment.

Starts with Nov. 16, 1955, number 7501 and continues through number 14150, which is undated. Book Stock Control Reports record purchases, gifts and withdrawals of books. Used to document the total number of books owned by the library system at a given time.
Collection contains brochures, pamphlets, flyers, invitations, bookmarks, program schedules and other materials related to Jefferson County Public Library program information, and planning and promoting of special events and programs. Some contain suggested books for various categories, i.e. women, holidays, easy readers, etc. There is also information on story hour times and tips for storytellers, as well as general library information.
Early Jefferson County, Colorado, library branches documented in this collection are: Conifer, Edgewater, Fruitdale/Bonnie Bonham, Kittredge, Morrison, West Alameda and Wheat Ridge. Files consist of Borrower's Registers; Circulation and Financial Reports; Board Meeting Minutes; By-Laws; Community Chest Correspondence and Reports; Other Correspondence; History; and Public Programs in these early branches. Not all items are included for every branch listed.
School census lists for the following Jefferson County, Colorado, Public School districts: District 1 (Golden), District 13 (Rockland), District 18 (Pine/Estabrook), District 23 (Lothrop), and District 48 (Daniels).

Reports and research materials related to the historic Lindsay Ranch located on the former Rocky Flats property in Arvada, Colorado. There was an effort in 2000, supported by County Commissioner Pat Holloway, to determine if the property qualified for National or State Historic Register listing, and if so, to ensure preservation of the ranch after the decommissioning of Rocky Flats. This collection is a compiliation of materials gathered by the archives.
District secretary's record book for School District 25, Lorraine-Mandalay. Contains "Record of District Meetings," dated May 1880 to May 1916, and "Proceedings of the District Board," dated June 1915 to May 1925.
Also contains copy of letter dated 1956 from Katherine E. Church, Church Ranch, on the history of the Mandalay School built on land donated by the Church family.
