Collection contains the Recorder's Book of the Junction District in Jefferson County, Kansas Territory, formed in 1860. James H. Fisk acted as Recorder. On August 11, 1860, a meeting was called to organize a district, frame a constitution, and make laws for the purpose of defending the pioneers' claims. G.W. Hutchinson was nominated as President. The book contains minutes of meetings, resolutions adopted, and recording of claims. Name index in front.
